Michael Owen joines United!
Oh no! Owen has signed for the other United. Newcastle boss Graeme Souness has managed to turn Owen into a Magpie in the greatest transfer of his career! Both parties have agreed to a four year deal and a starting position for the center forward.
Michael Owen's presence will have an immediate impact and Newcastle will benefit greatly. I expect him to score in his debut game, maybe he might even score twice. That's how good I personally think he is!
Just like Milan Baros' move to Aston Villa which resulted in a win courtesy of Baros' goal. A similar result is almost to be expected of Owen in his first game for Newcastle.
This is good news for Newcastle fans, and I like the signing as well, I'd love to watch Owen play against us in the next Newcastle vs Manchester game. I just hope he doesn't help them win.
