This game was exciting but the result was not. Some of the high points were Scholesy's long range goal but Nani's penalty kick was poorly taken. Hangeland then got an own goal but he was able to make amends later on as he scored the equalizer in the dying minutes. Guess who's fault it was?


Poor set piece defending enabled Hangeland to get a header. Although Van Der Sar got a touch it was not enough.

Rooney didn't play at all and Javier Hernandez started in his place. Michael Owen came in as a substitute for Chicharito but didn't get much service.
