Cristiano Ronaldo wins PFA Player of the Year 2008

Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo wins PFA Player of the Year 2008 and so retains his title. He is only the second player to win the award back to back after Thierry Henry.

Cristiano was again nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year - which he also won in 2007 - but this time the gong went to Fabregas of Arsenal.
